My intro blog
Hello! My name is Isabel Boland but everybody calls me Izzie. At the age of 3, I was diagnosed with a learning disorder that caused me to process information at a much slower rate then the average person. Do to my processing delay, I was very behind on reading. I was not able to read while other kids around me my age could. This caused me to have to practice English much more then my peers. Since I practiced it so much, I soon became the best reader in my classes. I was reading books like Pride and Prejudice and Great Expectations just to prove to myself that I was capable. Other then Literature, some things I enjoy are cinema, music and my dog boo (in the photo below). Like I said in class, one of my favorite books is Daisy Jones and the Six. Its about a fictional band based on Fleetwood Mac. Its also in the style of an interview with the band discussing about events that happened in the past.
